BlackTech Week is a minority centric ecosystem building festival based in Miami. Blacktech Week partners with founders, corporations, and the community to create a valuable six-day national experience for investors, entrepreneurs, and techies of every kind.
Since Blacktech Week’s inception in 2014 we have convened over 2700 participants, 150+ speakers, and 3 pitch competitions.
Code Fever is an economic development 501c(3) not for profit focused on Inclusive Innovation and Competitiveness for highly motivated members and communities of the emerging majority.
Blacktech Week was created in 2014 to accelerate the building of asset- and talent-filled spaces in Black communities where innovation and economic competitiveness can thrive by focusing on drawing resources, training, networks, funding, and instituting inclusive policies.
A six-day festival of conferences and convening that provides a unique national platform for minority entrepreneurship, minority employment, inclusive innovation, and international competitiveness. The annual conference provides national visibility and united national action toward solving the challenge.

GovEduCon is a day event on smart cities, robust public K-12 STEM education, ecosystem building for competitiveness, and open data to transform Black and Brown municipalities.
Day one of #HustleReunion focuses on monetizing social media influence, media, blogging, content, data analytics, and customer acquisition for eCommerce.
Day two of #HustleReunion focuses on funding, business insights, ecommerce, food, logistics, consumer goods and products, and supply chain.
Maskoff Lab is a day-long workshop designed to empower educators to expand STEAM opportunities for communities around the globe by tackling real-world issues through innovation while unleashing their personal brand. Grit Grits and Glitter workshop and Brunch provides a forum for women to release their creative magic. Code Fever Miami’s Youth and Family Tech Day exposes youth and families to technology in a fun and memorable way while foster innovation in the local community.

I haven’t missed a year yet, and each year is life changing for me. After year one I returned to startup life, post year to I founded Playvs and received funding from a relationship I built at Blacktech Week. Most recently I moved to LA to join Science’s incubator.
To receive the special group rate, guests must call directly at 305.531.6100 and specifically ask for INHOUSE Reservations (available during normal business hours) and reference Black Tech Week 2017. A one-night deposit for room and tax will be taken at the time the reservations is made and the remaining balance can be settled once the guests checkin. Guests may also email Betsy’s in-house reservations department at firstname.lastname@example.org and reference the group name.
