Andrew Maywah has many years of experience working in management roles for innovative companies in the U.S. and China. He has deep and broad leadership experience in a variety of technology businesses across several areas including: Network Security, Mobile Applications, Social Networks, Big Data, E-Commerce, Telecommunications, Digital Media, and SaaS. Andrew currently works for GO Scale Capital helping early and growth stage companies enter and expand in the China market. Previously, he co-founded Toujuwang, an Internet start-up company dedicated to providing accurate and up-to-date information online about the Chinese real estate market. Prior to that, Andrew was the CFO and head of finance at Base Technology Group (BaseFX), a leading film and television visual effects production studio in Beijing. Andrew also served as Vice-President and head of strategy & marketing at Maxit Technology,
Inc., which was focused on developing targeted online advertising solutions for Web and mobile in the media technology space. In the U.S., Andrew founded three technology start-ups and worked for a number of years at Oracle Corporation managing and coordinating product development for one of Oracle’s network security product lines. Andrew received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT in 1999, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2000, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
