Biography

Chris Christmas founded Keep Livin to increase health equity in communities where health disparities exist. Keep Livin is an outgrowth of Chris’s business experiences in consumer marketing, technology, and more recently health care.  Chris was Shaquille O’Neal’s brand manager at Reebok and cofounded “Dunk”, an online footwear and apparel company where he helped develop a technology that was acquired by Nike and is the core of its customization product. He was Director of Technology at The Pacific Institute where he led the development of e-learning tools for educational institutions. As one of the chief creative forces that transformed Kmart’s brand and image, he was named Designer of the Year by Kmart. He has been a consultant to BET, Reebok, MTV and NBA, among others. He was the National Spokesperson for Foster Care Month, and the graduation keynote speaker at Oakwood University, a historic black university in Huntsville, Alabama. Chris participated in the rebranding campaign for the State of Colorado. He was named Businessman of the Year by the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce. Before starting Keep Livin, Chris launched the multicultural market campaign for Kaiser Permanente in Colorado, and Pfizer retained him for clinical trial recruitment and patient engagement for their new sickle cell anemia drug. These experiences enhanced his understanding of health disparities and led to his commitment to do something about them
