Christopher S. Fils
Christopher is a reputable business leader within the San Francisco Bay area. He currently works as the Vice President and Branch Manager for Morgan Stanley in Silicon Valley, CA. His upbringing is the true definition of “making something out of nothing”-poverty stricken community, immigrant parents, morals embedded by a strong value based family, a hard work ethic and receiving education as a means of achieving success.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Christopher served as the Vice President of Regional Investment Sales for Merrill Lynch in New York City. Christopher was responsible for driving revenue and AUM for 115 financial advisors in relation to managed investment products, annuities, UITs, ETFs, MLPs, self-directed assets, and corporate retirement plans. Christopher developed progressive solutions and innovative ways to position the company for both short term and long term success. He differentiated himself by driving profitable and sustainable revenue growth strategies.
In addition to demonstrating excellence in his career, Christopher is extremely active in his community. As the VP of Finance for Inroads, he mentors countless underprivileged students while demonstrating the essentials of business and leadership. He also served as the Chairman for the YMCA Sulphur Springs and as a Board Member for the New Leaders Council.
Christopher’s years of working in finance are backed by his passion for assisting others in achieving their financial freedom. His hard work and persistence landed him a spot as one of the 2014 Tampa Bay Business Journal Top 30 under 30 Up and Comers.
In 2017, Christopher was a nominee for the Forbes 30Under30 list.
During his free time he enjoys reading, working out, and doing missionary work. He recently completed a 7-day mission trip to Costa Rica on behalf of SCORE International. In Costa Rica he served the homeless, taught, and mentored the local business leaders. Recently, Christopher received the Icon of the Year Award from the NAACP.
Christopher earned his B.S. degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and earned the CRPC and AAMS financial designations.
